12 FACTS AND BENEFITS OF FIRST FRUIT OFFERING

BLESSING OF THE FIRST FRUIT OFFERINGS 

The mosaic law required the Israelites to bring to the house of God, the first fruit of the land. Exodus 23:19, the first fruit of thy land thou shall bring into the house of the lord thy God (numb 18:12) All the best of the oil, all the best of the wine, the first fruit of them while they shall offer unto the lord, them have I given thee. (Exodus 23:19, Prob 3:9-10)

There is lot of ignorance in Christendom today on the subject of first fruit. Most Christians know next to nothing about first fruit. Few pastors teach on it. It was started with Abel Gen.4:4. Abel, he also brought of the first thing of his flock of the fat thereof. And the lord has respect unto Abel and his offering (1cor. 15:20) God also gave his son as the first fruit of resurrection. God knew the principle of the first fruit and applied it. 

12 FACTS AND BENEFITS OF FIRST FRUIT OFFERING

1. First fruit is not same as tithe but important too. 

2. Tithe appears 32 times, while first fruit appears also 32 times in the scriptures. 

3. Abel was the first to bring first fruit, Gen. 4:4. Tithe was mentioned later in Gen. 14:20. 

4. First fruit is the first profit from your business; it is the first honorarium in the year. It is first increment of your labor. Exodus 23:16.

5. Giving your first fruit to God shows that you have respect for God. 

6. What you do with the first fruit determines what happen to the rest of your income. Rom. 11:6. 

7. Uncommon divine favor. Gen.4:4, he can favor you as he did to Abel. 

8. You shall enjoy plenty, so shall your barns be filled with plenty. Proverb 3:10 

9. God will change your status. 

10. God will break power and grip of poverty, lack tragedy, calamity and failure. 

11. First fruit carries uncommon blessing because not many people obey it. 

12. It attracts true prosperity I.e. uncommon prosperity.

Conclusion 

Those that didn't find it hard to obey the command of first fruit offering shall always see the endless benefits of its blessing. May the year 2019 be your year of increase.
